Adult & Teen Challenge Arkansas offers holistic addiction recovery through medical care, counseling, and long-term discipleship. ATCAR is part of the long-standing Adult & Teen Challenge network, founded in 1958 by Rev. David Wilkerson and now operating 170+ faith-based recovery centers nationwide. The classic book of The Cross and the Switchblade narrates the beginnings of Adult & Teen Challenge. Since 1969, Adult & Teen Challenge of Arkansas has offered residential, faith-based help for men and women battling addiction and other life-controlling struggles.

Intensive in-patient care for mental health and substance use, providing a safe setting with counseling, medication management, and discipleship to build essential recovery skills.
Structured day-level care for those needing more than outpatient therapy, focusing on stabilization in a supportive clinical setting and preparing for transition to aftercare.
A step below inpatient care, offering support and relapse-prevention while allowing participants to maintain daily responsibilities and continue structured treatment.
A 24-month mentorship program with monthly check-ins, continued discipleship, and referrals to support long-term sobriety, reinforce recovery skills, and help individuals maintain stability.
